Dr. Mary Ellen Wurzbach has a BSN and MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner from UW-Oshkosh. Her PhD is from the University of Minnesota School of Nursing with a minor in Philosophy. Her areas of interest are nursing ethics, nursing theory, and research. She teaches Ethical Issues in Nursing and Health Care. Dr. Wurzbach is a TRISS Endowed Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where she has taught since 1980. Her primary interests are nursing ethics and palliative care, about which she has written
